The truth is that not every woman will end up with a man & that’s ok. But it must be said, A good man is not just nice to have, like an accessory, a good & true husband is a gift & a blessing! If you truly desire to be partnered with a man, (that desire is a reflection of what life best suits you) then CHOOSE WISELY. Because a good husband can lift you up, while a bad one can drain you and diminish you.

1. He Loves You

Lao Tzu said “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” When a good man who knows how to love, loves a woman, she feels stronger. She feels his strength holding her up when she feels weary.

2. He has faith in you

He believes in your abilities. Speaks highly of you and that adds to your confidence. When you share your thoughts, he listens & even when he doesn’t agree or understand, he doesn’t put you down, he holds space for you to try and if you win, he celebrates with you, if you fail, he holds you through the lessons learned.

3. He covers you.

A good man will pray for you, intercede for you. He doesn’t wait for you to pray. He believes you and his family are his responsibility in all ways so he goes to God constantly on behalf of his family. He is not filled with EGO (edging God out) rather he is humble enough to access divine grace as a leader.

4. He is emotionally available to you.

Many powerful women don’t have anyone they can really be vulnerable with except their husbands. When he is emotionally available to you, you have someone who allows you to cry and feel weak with. Someone who can hold space for your fears and tears.

5. He protects you

While he understands that you as a woman are strong in your own way, he will not hesitate to intervene if he feels like you are in danger. He will do everything in his power to make sure you are safe. This gives you a sense of security that allows you to rise to even higher heights.

6. He is your partner in every sense of the word

He doesn’t just bark orders (like an Oga). He gets involved and shares the labor and contributes to your mutual success. You both stand in the gap for each other. When he needs help in an area, you show up. You have each other’s back.

7. You can trust him!

He is a man of integrity. He doesn’t lie. He is not out chasing women. He has self control. His word is as good as gold. Such a man builds up your trust in general. As a woman you feel more secure in general and you can focus on the important things

8. He never sees you as competition

He has his own goals and successes. He has his own sense of purpose and it is never threatened by your accomplishments. So he is your biggest cheerleader and supporter. And his support means so much to you because he knows you best and so his words and actions carry a lot of weight.

9 He is there!

He is not an absentee husband. He is always there when you need him. You have a true partner in every sense of the word. You know you can work by yourself, but walking with him makes life so much more beautiful and the love you share brings immense joy.
